Place reuses and recycles computers, and
Computer Recycling promotes the highest
and best re-use of computer and electronic equipment, and
recycles unusable items to keep them out of
landfills.
We take all computer, technology, test
equipment, cell phones, and telephone equipment, and printers
working and nonworking.
Our Goal is to make it
easy for you.
You can drop off your equipment at one of
our events or locations. OR we will pick it up for
FREE.
Businesses with a truckload of items can bring it to us, or
request a business pickup (both reuse and recycle) -
please see below.
Charitable Tax Deductions - We
issue a charitable TAX-DEDUCTABLE
receipt for ALL donations.
If
you prepare an inventory sheet with a donation value, we
will sign that we received your items. We issue a charitable
receipt for ALL items that you designate as a donation for
reuse or remarket.
Please consult your bookkeeper, CPA,
or financial counsel for more information about tax
deductions / credits for your donation. We are a nonprofit
and this gives you additional tax advantages available under
U.S. tax laws. Please designate whether you are donating
items for reuse and remarket, or have items for recycling
when you contact us for a business
pickup. Hard disk drives and your data/information - CCAV
advises that you erase your drive before donating your
computer. CCAV erases data on hard drives (HDD) that are
reused. We remove other HDD for shredding and recycling of
metals. Methods of erasure include using data destruction
software (US Gov.specs)followed by reformatting the drive
and reloading software. Certificates of Destruction are
available upon
request .

telephone equipment, test equipment, networking, equipment,
(hubs, routers, switches, etc.).
All the parts that go into
a computer.
All flat-panel screens.
All desktop and
tower computers - whole and complete.

WE
DO NOT ACCEPT BROKEN PICTURE TUBE MONITORS
There is a small FEE for: Broken and waste for
destruction of E-waste.
DROP-OFF LOCATIONS (we have drop off locations throughout

you.
SPECIAL
DROP-OFF EVENTS, 2005
We
periodically hold “Save the Environment events where you may
drop off your E-Waste in a certain location and during a
special time.
Business
pickups available for commercial size loads.
We
have business pickups for large loads of donated items for
reuse or remarket, and these receive a charitable receipt. We
also make Business Pickups of items for recycling and
refurbishing.
